Vi presento Tracy Woody, cantautrice dai mille talenti del North Carolina (USA), che debutta nella scena musicale col suo EP "Sweet Beat Of Love" con al suo interno, oltre alla traccia omonima, altri tre brani, tra cui "Your Love" e due remix.
La Woody ha iniziato il suo viaggio musicale più di dieci anni fa grazie alla musica religiosa, cantando ai matrimoni e per gli amici. E questa influenza religiosa la si può sentire anche in "Sweet Beat Of Love", dove essa si fonda ai ritmi dance elettronici e ad un potente canto di stampo puramente pop.
La stessa Tracy afferma che la sua ambizione quale musicista è ispirare la gente e sembra proprio riuscirci con questi brani, dove traduce religiosamente la musica nel linguaggio universale della sala da ballo, utilizzando l'elettronica senza che questo vada a discapito della sua voce unica.
Il potenziale di "Sweet Beat of Love" viene subito dimostrato quendo questo raggiunge la prima posizione della Dance Chart ed entra nella top 20 dei singoli due volte consecutive al terzo e secondo posto su Indie Castle.
La Woody ha vinto il Platinum Auddy Trophy Award per "Your Love (New)", "Sweet Beat of Love" e "Sweet Beat of Love Remix", ottenendo una menzione d'onore per "Your Love" e il suo nuovo brano "I Love Me and You". Inoltre è stata invitata a proporre le sue canzoni e a suonare agli All Indie Music Awards ad Hollywood.
Non si è però fermata agli Stati Uniti, la sua musica infatti ha raggiunto la Svizzera, la Germania, il Regno Unito, la Repubblica di Centro Africa. Ovunque ha ottenuto premi, riconoscimenti e airplay, tra cui ricordiamo in particolare quello di Skope Magazine TV/Radio.
Ma questo è solo il punto di partenza.
Adesso Tracy sta cercando nuove possibili collaborazioni per portare la sua musica in Italia e magari avere la possibilità di suonare nel nostro paese.

Tracy Woody could well be one of those artists.  An Indie singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur, Woody is set to burst onto the scene with the incendiary dance floor filler that is ‘Sweat Beat of Love.’ This powerful, emotional, vibrant four-track EP is the announcement of an artist who has big, big things ahead of her. ‘Sweat Beat of Love’ marries the almost religious style that informed Woody’s early musical education to electric dance floor beats and a hugely powerful pop vocal. It is a single that will wow dance floors as much as the home listener. Backed with the equally infectious ‘Your Love’ and two remixes, this EP is tight, life-enhancing and essential music.  These songs are the very definition of inspiration. They translate the music religiously into the universal language of the dance floor. They use electronic influences without distilling the beauty of what is a unique voice.

Woody's singing influence is her mother's operaretic tone and her love for singing religiously in which from a young age of 2 she was inspired in her love of music and singing. At the age of 11 years old, Woody was asked to sing and perform in talent shows and at weddings through the years. Singing is a joy to her, a blessing, and a privilege that she loves to share with others.

Woody also took acting classes locally.  In 1999 at an IMTA competition in California Woody won a few ribbons in singing and in a TV Commercial.  She also competed in a local competition where she won the #1 position and was offered studio time and a record deal. After releasing Sweet Beat of Love CD EP in the Spring of 2011, she recently won the Platinum Auddy Trophy Awards, won Semi-finalist and 2 other Commending Entries Certificates in the prestigious UK Songwriting Contest of 2011 in front of a panel of expert music judges, and 3 Top Runner Up positions in Gary Allen's World Best Song Contest, garnered the #1 local Dance position and reached positions 3-6 Nationally and Globally on www.reverbnation.com/tracywoody, on www.johnnyrock.com/members/charts/weekly for several weeks have been in positions 1-3 in August and September 2011, and on www.Indiecastle.net positions 2-3 for her songs on Sweet Beat of Love CD EP.  Woody is ecstatic and grateful.

Singing is her spice of life that she loves to spread it's message of love both near and far.
